Our House!!
As many of you know, we are building a house up in Farmington. They just dug the hole on Friday. Even though it's not much of a hole, it is still progress which is very exciting. We will keep posting pictures of the progress!

Here are Ken and the kids in front of the lot before anything started.
And this is our hole! We are so excited that it is finally to this point!

Camping
One of the reasons we decided to get an SUV was to be able to go camping. We took the new car up to Logan this weekend and tried camping out for the first time. We squeezed the four of us into the car, and it worked out quite nicely when it started raining. We will have to keep practicing to get it just right! So anyone who knows some good camping spots, or who would like to come with us, let us know! :) We are excited for summer.

Jocelyn's Favorite Ride
Disneyland
Just got back from the happiest place on earth! We surprised the kids for their Spring Break with a trip to Disneyland, and had a blast! My mom was able to join us for the trip which made it that much better. Here are some pictures from the trip.

As a special treat, we went to a character dinner where the girls got to meet all the princesses. They had such a good time getting their autographs and taking pictures with the princesses. Jocelyn was full of questions and had all the princesses telling her stories or answering her questions. It was so much fun!

Cute picture...doesn't need much explanation!

Chicago 2008
We spent July 4th, 2008 in Chicago with Ken's sisters, Jen and Ang. Here are some of the pictures from our trip.
At the Taste of Chicago! Mmmm good food!
The girls at Millenium Park. They got such a kick out of this water feature!
We called this the giant shiny jellybean.
We stopped by Mt. Rushmore on our way back to Utah. The girls loved it. Especially when we had them watch National Treasure 2 and they thought there was a lost city nearby. Kaitlyn kept calling it "Mountain Rushmore" and Jocelyn kept correcting her.

Our Story begins May 17, 2008. We were married in Lehi, Utah, surrounded by family and friends. We currently live in Bountiful, and share custody of Ken's daughters Jocelyn, 8, and Kaitlyn, 7. Life is mostly simple with a few ups and downs. But Ken and I love rollercoasters, so I guess it's fitting. :) Ken flies helicopters for a company in Logan called Mountain Air Helicopters. He LOVES it! I am currently working for Big-D Construction in their corporate office.
